Group Therapy & Restorative Practices.
Where healing is held in community.
Restoring Wholeness Through Group-Based Healing.
Our Approach to Healing
At Sankofa Health, we believe healing is a collective act. It’s not reserved for crisis or reserved for solitude—it’s ongoing, relational, and deeply human.
Our therapy and healing offerings are rooted in the belief that care should be culturally grounded, emotionally honest, and accessible in community. Whether through talk, touch, breath, sound, or silence, each of our practices is designed to meet you where you are—and gently guide you toward wholeness.
These sessions aren't just about managing stress or getting through the day. They're about creating space to feel, to release, to reflect, and to reconnect—with yourself and with others. In a world that often demands more than it gives, we offer this space to pause, to be held, and to heal—together.

Weekly offerings for Growth, Healing & Connection.
Group Therapy Sessions
Healing through shared experience.
Led by licensed, culturally responsive therapists, our group therapy sessions offer a safe, supportive space to process life’s challenges—grief, anxiety, identity, burnout, and more. Rooted in collective care, these weekly circles help you feel seen, build resilience, and heal in community.

*Space is limited—registration required.
The Meditation Center
A quiet place to return to yourself—every day.
The Meditation Center at Sankofa is more than a class—it’s a daily practice space. Designed as a sanctuary for stillness, reflection, and grounding, this is where we come to reconnect with breath, body, and presence. Whether guided or silent, virtual or in person, each session is an invitation to pause and come home to yourself.
Offered daily, Monday–Sunday, every morning (in-person & virtual)
Sacred Space: Conversations That Heal
Where reflection becomes real practice.
Each month in our community newsletter, we explore a theme that challenges us to reconsider what it means to be healthy—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Sacred Space brings that theme to life.
This facilitated group conversation creates room to unpack the month's ideas in real time, reflect on personal experiences, and explore how these concepts show up in our lives. Through honest dialogue, breath, and supportive discussion, Sacred Space helps you move from awareness to action—from insight to integration.
Tuesdays at 6:00 PM (in-person)
The Reset Room
Intentional rest. Weekly restoration. Real relief.
In a world that glorifies hustle, The Reset Room invites you to slow down and surrender to the power of rest.
This 8-week residency features a rotating lineup of wellness practitioners guiding you through stillness practices that calm the body and soothe the nervous system. Each Saturday introduces a new pathway to rest—whether through music, meditation, breathwork, or gentle movement.
Perfect for those feeling burnt out, navigating transitions, or simply seeking a softer, more sustainable way to care for themselves.
Come as you are. Leave feeling more whole.

Dharma & Sunday School
Two ways to reflect, reset, and reconnect.
On the second Sunday, Dharma offers a quiet space for reflection, combining a short teaching with meditation and sound. It’s designed to help you slow down, gain clarity, and leave feeling mentally and emotionally restored.
On the last Sunday, Sunday School with Doc is a journaling-based practice led by Dr. Tamisha Ponder. Each session includes a focused prompt to help you explore what’s present in your life—and how to carry that insight into your everyday decisions and practices.
Dharma: 2nd Sunday at 12:00 PM (in-person & virtual)
Sunday School: Last Sunday at 9:00 AM (in-person & virtual)
